The ideal candidate will have a Master’s or PhD in Chemical Engineering with 10+ years of experience in process design, scale-up, and project leadership, plus strong skills in process simulation and remote collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Chemical Engineering.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in chemical process design, development, and scale-up.
• Proven experience leading complex engineering projects and teams.
• Expertise in process simulation and modeling, with a strong theoretical background.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills suited for a remote setting.
• Experience with stage-gate project management methodologies is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical direction and execution of major chemical engineering projects.
• Develop and validate new chemical processes, focusing on scalability, efficiency, and sustainability.
• Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to a team of chemical engineers.
• Oversee process design packages, including P&IDs, equipment specifications, and safety reviews.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, manufacturing, and business development teams virtually.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices in chemical engineering.
