Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Technical Field Support Engineer to provide expert-level assistance to clients with installed systems. This fully remote role will troubleshoot complex issues, guide on-site personnel, and ensure optimal performance of our client's equipment for customers in and around Mahikeng.

You will work independently with advanced diagnostic tools, analyze data, develop documentation, and collaborate with engineering to improve products.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Field Support Engineer or senior technical support, preferably remote.
• Deep knowledge of installation and maintenance of sophisticated systems.
• Proficiency with remote diagnostic software, network analysis tools, and ticketing systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced remote technical support and troubleshooting for complex equipment issues.
• Analyze system performance data and diagnostic reports to identify root causes of problems.
• Guide and train client personnel or on-site technicians through complex repair and maintenance procedures.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and troubleshooting guides.
• Collaborate with engineering and product development teams on issue resolution and product improvements.
• Ensure timely and effective resolution of all escalated technical support requests.
