Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Field Operations Manager to lead remote hydrocarbon production and maintenance activities across multiple sites. The role focuses on strategic planning, execution, and optimization of field operations in a remote-first, global Oil & Gas environment.

You will drive safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness while managing geographically dispersed teams and coordinating with engineering and supply chain to ensure seamless project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, Chemical) or related field.
• 10+ years' experience in field operations management within Oil & Gas.
• Proven track record managing large-scale remote operations and dispersed teams.
• Strong knowledge of production operations, asset integrity, and maintenance strategies.
• Excellent leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency with operational management software and remote collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of field operations, including production, maintenance, and integrity management.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to maximize production and minimize downtime.
• Ensure strict adherence to SHE regulations and company policies across all sites.
• Manage operational budgets, control costs, and identify efficiency opportunities.
• Lead, mentor, and develop remote field teams, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with engineering, supply chain, and other departments for project execution.
