Placements24 is seeking a Lead Recruitment Consultant to spearhead our mining and resources recruitment operations in George, Western Cape. You will oversee a team of consultants, manage key client accounts, and drive service excellence across the end-to-end recruitment process.

The role demands 7+ years of recruitment experience with at least 3 in leadership, a strong network in mining, and proven business development and client relationship management skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive recruitment experience, including 3+ years in leadership.
• Expert in mining and resources recruitment and talent markets.
• Proven business development and client relationship management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Experience with recruitment technologies and CRM systems.
• Strategic thinker with results orientation; willing to travel.

Responsabilités

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of recruitment consultants to achieve performance goals.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment for complex mining and resources roles.
• Develop sourcing plans to attract high-calibre candidates, including passive candidates.
• Cultivate long-term client relationships in mining and resources.
• Oversee client satisfaction and SLA adherence.
• Conduct market analysis to identify recruitment trends and opportunities.
• Drive business development to expand client base in George.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws and recruitment best practices.
• Report on team performance and market intelligence to senior management.
