Placements24 is seeking an experienced Lead Recruitment Specialist to drive the Mining & Resources division. This fully remote role lets you work from anywhere in South Africa while leading a team of remote recruiters and managing key client relationships.

Develop advanced sourcing strategies for geologists, mining engineers, metallurgists and operations managers. Mentor the team, deliver exceptional recruitment outcomes, and stay ahead of industry trends.

Formación

• 7+ years in recruitment with a focus on mining and resources.
• Experience recruiting for senior, specialized roles in mining operations.
• Remote team leadership and strong stakeholder management.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage a team of remote recruitment specialists focused on mining and resources.
• Develop and execute advanced sourcing strategies for geologists, mining engineers, metallurgists, and operations managers.
• Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with key decision-makers in mining companies.
• Provide expert market insights and consultative advice on talent acquisition and retention.
• Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes and drive high-quality candidate experiences.
• Drive business development to secure new clients and projects in the sector.
• Mentor and coach the recruitment team in a remote, results-driven environment.
• Analyze recruitment metrics and implement improvements for optimal outcomes.
• Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and tech impacting talent acquisition.
