You will manage full lifecycle recruitment for technical roles, develop sourcing strategies, and build long-term client partnerships while mentoring junior consultants and staying current with industry trends.

You will assess candidates, conduct technical interviews, and provide market intelligence to drive successful placements across engineering disciplines.

• 5+ years of proven experience in recruitment consultancy, with a strong specialization in Technical and Engineering placements.
• Excellent candidate sourcing and interviewing skills, including experience with technical assessments.

• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with a portfolio of key clients in the engineering sector
• Provide expert market intelligence and salary benchmarking advice to clients
• Manage candidate pipelines and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
• Collaborate with business development teams to identify new client opportunities
• Mentor and guide junior recruitment consultants within the team

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in recruitment consultancy, with a strong specialization in Technical and Engineering placements
• Demonstrated success in managing high-volume and niche technical recruitment projects
• In-depth knowledge of various engineering fields (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Software) and related technologies
• Excellent candidate sourcing and interviewing skills, including experience with technical assessments
• Strong negotiation and closing abilities
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and client management skills
• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment technologies
• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field is highly desirable
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment in Stellenbosch, Western Cape
