Placements24 in Randburg is seeking a Senior Recruitment Consultant to lead our Engineering and Manufacturing practice, driving end-to-end recruitment for technical, operational, and leadership roles across the region.

You will develop innovative sourcing strategies, build strong client partnerships, conduct thorough candidate assessments, and negotiate offers with a focus on delivering exceptional outcomes.

• Minimum of 5 years of recruitment experience with specialization in engineering and manufacturing sectors.
• Demonstrable success in recruiting for roles such as Project Engineers, Design Engineers, Production Managers, Plant Managers, Process Engineers.
• Strong understanding of engineering disciplines and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in recruitment software, LinkedIn Recruiter and advanced sourcing tools.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, results-oriented with a strong commercial focus.
• Willingness to work a hybrid schedule, commuting to Randburg office.

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates (mechanical, electrical, civil, chemical engineers, and operations managers).
• Conduct in-depth client consultations to understand technical requirements, project needs, and culture.
• Perform thorough candidate assessments including technical interviews, skills validation, and behavioral evaluations.
• Build and maintain a strong network within engineering and manufacturing sectors.
• Provide expert market insights and consultative advice on talent availability, compensation, and industry trends.
• Negotiate offers and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the process.
• Achieve and exceed personal and team targets for placements and revenue generation.

Our client, a respected recruitment consultancy with offices in Randburg, Gauteng , is seeking a highly skilled Senior Recruitment Consultant to lead their Engineering and Manufacturing division. This role is crucial for identifying and securing top talent for technical, operational, and managerial positions within these vital industries across the region. The Senior Recruitment Consultant will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, build strong partnerships with engineering firms and manufacturing companies, and develop innovative strategies to attract specialized professionals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical understanding, a proven track record in executive and niche placements, and exceptional commercial acumen.
