The role requires a Bachelor's in CM/Engineering/Architecture (Masters or PMP a plus), 8+ years of SA real estate PM experience, and strong leadership for remote collaboration.

About the Role

Our client, a prominent developer and investor in the South African real estate market, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Real Estate Project Manager to join their dedicated remote team. This role is pivotal in overseeing the successful execution of diverse real estate development projects from inception through to completion. You will be responsible for strategic planning, budget management, team leadership, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. This is a fully remote position, ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives on managing complex projects and collaborating virtually, ideally based near **East London**.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all phases of real estate development projects, including feasibility studies, design, permitting, construction, and handover.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitor progress against these objectives.
• Select and manage external consultants, contractors, and vendors, ensuring adherence to project specifications and contractual obligations.
• Oversee the procurement process, including tendering, negotiation, and contract administration.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, zoning regulations, health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections (virtually or in-person as project demands) and progress meetings to ensure quality and resolve issues promptly.
• Manage project risks, identifying potential challenges and developing mitigation strategies.
• Communicate project status, milestones, and risks effectively to senior management and stakeholders through regular reports and presentations.
• Foster a collaborative and productive working environment among remote project teams and external partners.

Requirements
