About the Role

Our client, a forward-thinking property development group, is seeking an experienced Senior Property Development Manager to lead projects from a remote capacity. This role is designed for a strategic leader who can manage the entire development lifecycle, from identifying opportunities to final project delivery, with a particular focus on emerging markets and potential development sites in regions like Upington , Northern Cape. You will be responsible for feasibility studies, financial analysis, project planning, construction oversight (through remote coordination with on-site teams), stakeholder management, and ensuring project profitability and adherence to quality standards. The ideal candidate possesses a strong track record in property development, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to navigate complex projects from start to finish, all while working effectively in a remote environment. Key Responsibilities

• Identifying and evaluating potential real estate development opportunities across various South African regions, including preliminary assessments of areas like Upington .
• Conducting comprehensive feasibility studies, market analysis, and financial modeling for proposed projects.
• Managing the acquisition process, including due diligence, negotiation, and securing legal title.
• Overseeing the design and planning phases, ensuring alignment with market needs and project objectives.
• Coordinating and managing construction phases through remote supervision, working closely with site managers and contractors.
• Developing and managing project budgets and timelines, ensuring financial objectives are met.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, government bodies, and community representatives.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Property Development, Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in property development, with a proven history of managing large-scale projects successfully.
• Strong understanding of South African property markets, development finance, construction processes, and legal frameworks.
