Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Real Estate Development, Urban Planning, Construction Management, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in real estate development with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in project management, financial analysis, deal structuring, and contract negotiation.
• In-depth knowledge of the South African property market, development regulations and construction practices.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate real estate development opportunities, including feasibility studies and market analysis.
• Oversee all development phases: acquisition, planning, design, financing, construction, and sales/leasing.
• Manage project budgets, timelines and resources to ensure profitability.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, legal teams and consultants through the lifecycle.
• Secure permits, approvals and zoning from local authorities.
• Build and maintain relationships with investors, financial institutions and communities.
