Placements24 is seeking a Senior Real Estate Development Manager to lead end-to-end development projects in Pretoria. You will oversee feasibility, design, permitting, construction, and delivery, coordinating with contractors, architects, and lenders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in real estate development project management.
Proven track record delivering complex real estate development projects.
Strong knowledge of land use regulations, zoning, and permitting in Gauteng.
Strong financial acumen including budgeting and pro forma creation.
Excellent negotiation, leadership and communication skills.
Proficiency in project management software and MS Office.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
Experience in stakeholder engagement and public relations.
Strong understanding of Pretoria real estate market.

Responsibilities

Identify and evaluate development opportunities and sites in the Pretoria area.
Conduct feasibility studies, market analysis, and financial modeling for new projects.
Manage the development process from acquisition to permitting and design.
Oversee construction activities with contractors, architects, and engineers.
Develop and manage project budgets and secure financing.
Coordinate with legal teams on contracts and regulatory compliance.
Develop and execute marketing and sales strategies for completed developments.
Manage stakeholder relationships with authorities, communities, and investors.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
