Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Construction Project Manager to lead high-end residential estate developments in and around Pretoria. You will manage end-to-end construction from planning and design liaison through to handover, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The role requires a relevant degree, at least 7 years in residential construction, strong leadership and stakeholder management, and a solid grasp of building regulations and planning permissions.

Qualifications

• A relevant degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture.
• At least 7 years of progressive experience in managing residential construction projects.
• Proven track record delivering complex estates on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of building regulations and planning permissions.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with Pretoria's property development landscape is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of construction for residential developments, ensuring quality and safety.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and authorities.
• Conduct site meetings and inspections to monitor progress and resolve issues.
• Prepare detailed project reports for senior management.
