Placements24 is seeking a strategic Real Estate Development Manager to lead major projects in Pretoria, Gauteng. You will oversee the full development lifecycle from site acquisition to delivery, coordinating with architects, engineers, and partners to meet timelines and budgets.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Real Estate or related field and at least 7 years in real estate development or project management, with strong budgeting, regulatory knowledge, and stakeholder leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in real estate development or project management.
- Proven track record delivering complex development projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methods and building codes.
- Excellent budgeting, forecasting and investment analysis skills.
- Leadership, negotiation and communication with stakeholders in Pretoria.
Responsabilités
- Identify and evaluate real estate development opportunities in and around Pretoria.
- Conduct feasibility studies, market research, and financial analysis.
- Manage all phases of development including zoning, permitting, design, and construction.
- Negotiate contracts with landowners, consultants, contractors and stakeholders.
- Oversee budgets, timelines and risk management to ensure delivery.
- Liaise with local authorities and community groups for approvals and support.
