Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• 5 years experience in a consultancy role.
• Strong knowledge of cost planning, estimating, and commercial management.
• Proven experience delivering projects to a successful conclusion.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong leadership capabilities with ability to manage teams and client relationships.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of Building Contracts including Public Contracts.
• Proficiency in Cubit and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Quantity Surveying function across multiple projects.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents.
• Monitor project costs and cash flow, ensuring projects stay within budget.
• Advise on procurement, risk management, and change control.
• Review and analyse project performance to ensure specifications and quality.
• Mentor and support junior quantity surveyors.
• Manage client relationships and deliver high-quality service and reporting.
