Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience as a Quantity Surveyor in high-rise/large commercial projects.
• Proficiency in quantity surveying software (WinQS, CCS Candy) and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets and bills of quantities for high-rise projects.
• Manage tendering processes including procurement and subcontractor negotiations.
• Administer construction contracts and ensure compliance with terms.
• Measure and value work, prepare interim payments and final accounts.
• Monitor costs against budget and report variances.
• Manage change orders and variations and assess commercial impact.
• Conduct site visits to verify progress and quantities measured.
• Advise on contractual matters and assist in dispute resolution.
• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare project cost reports.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and subcontractors to meet commercial objectives.
