Job summary

Nexio, a leading ICT solutions provider in South Africa, seeks a senior sales leader to steer the public enterprise segment. You will shape long-term vision, drive revenue and margins, and lead a high-performance sales team across strategic accounts.

Responsible for defining segment strategy, growing wallet share, and guiding negotiations with key customers. Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and a deep ICT network are essential.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 is required.
• A degree is essential; postgraduate qualification advantageous.
• Solid understanding of ICT Industry products and solutions (Cloud, Cyber-security and Digital).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• 10+ years of sales experience, including management roles.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement high level strategies to drive sales in the identified segment.
• Define and execute operational strategy to acquire new customers within the identified segment.
• Define and execute operational strategy to grow share of wallet within existing customers in the identified segment.
• Drive a high-performance sales culture within the identified segment using a strong sales management system.
• Mentor and coach salespeople to achieve their objectives.
• Accurately forecast in weekly cadence to meet sales and financial objectives.
• Track sales metrics (pipeline, forecast, coverage, target) and coach for performance.
• Implement and execute performance improvement plans for underperforming staff.
• Drive strategic customer engagements at C-level within the segment.
• Contribute input into commercial negotiations to close strategic deals.
