LexisNexis Legal & Professional is seeking an experienced sales leader to head the public sector sales strategy in South Africa. You will drive revenue through new business, renewals and account expansion, while leading Account Managers and Business Development Managers in complex public sector environments.

Qualifications

• Extensive B2B sales leadership experience in complex environments.
• Experience selling into government or public sector.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, tenders and long sales cycles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute public sector sales strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Drive revenue growth through new business, renewals and account expansion.
• Lead, coach and develop Account Managers and Business Development Managers.
• Build trusted relationships with government departments, regulators and public institutions.
• Manage sales pipelines, forecasting and commercial performance.
• Oversee tenders, bid strategies and procurement compliance.
• Qualify opportunities based on funding, stakeholder alignment and commercial viability.
• Partner with internal teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Promote adoption of LexisNexis technologies, including AI-enabled solutions.
