Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent required.
• Degree qualification essential.
• Postgraduate qualification advantageous.
• Solid understanding of ICT industry products and PFMA/government procurement cycles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement high level strategies to drive sales in identified segments.
• Define and execute operational strategy to acquire new customers within the identified segment.
• Define and execute operational strategy to grow share of wallet within existing customers in the identified segment.
• Drive a high-performance sales culture within the segment using a strong sales management system.
• Provide mentorship and coaching to salespeople to achieve their objectives.
• Accurately forecast in weekly cadence to meet sales and financial targets.
• Track sales metrics (pipeline accuracy, forecast accuracy, coverage, achievement) and coach for performance.
• Implement performance improvement plans for underperformers.
• Drive strategic customer engagements at C-level within the segment and contribute to negotiations.
