Placements24 is seeking a Senior Process Safety Engineer to join a fully remote, globally distributed team. You will develop and maintain robust process safety management systems, conduct PHAs such as HAZOP/LOPA, and lead incident investigations while guiding engineers and operations teams across facilities, including Gauteng operations.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in process safety within chemical/petrochemical industries, strong analytical skills, and the ability to train and influence

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or closely related field is required.
• Master's degree preferred for advanced opportunities and leadership.
• Minimum 8 years of process safety engineering experience in chemical/petrochemical sectors.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and manage Process Safety Management programs.
• Conduct PHAs including HAZOP/LOPA and action findings.
• Oversee incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Provide expert process safety training to engineers and operators.
• Review process designs to embed safety from the start.
• Monitor evolving safety regulations and update standards.
