Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Process Chemical Engineer to join our client’s team. This fully remote role supports operations originally based in Rustenburg, offering the chance to lead advanced chemical processes and drive optimization across global facilities.

You will design and implement process technologies, model and analyze operations to maximize yield and safety, mentor engineering teams remotely, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in chemical/petrochemical industries.
Expertise in process optimization and scale-up.
Strong leadership and remote collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced chemical processes and technologies.
Conduct process analysis, modeling, and optimization to maximize yield and minimize waste.
Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams, remotely and on-site when required.
Oversee complex process improvement projects from conception to commissioning.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with global teams to share best practices and drive standardization.
