Qualifications

• Advanced degree in chemical engineering required.
• 10+ years in chemical process engineering with optimization focus.
• Experience with process simulation and data interpretation.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with PSM principles and Six Sigma is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning and execution of process optimization across multiple units.
• Analyze process data to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and implement advanced control strategies to enhance performance.
• Conduct process hazard analyses (PHAs) and implement safety measures.
• Evaluate new technologies and equipment for integration into operations.
• Provide expert technical guidance to operations and engineering teams.
• Develop and deliver training on optimization techniques and best practices.
• Manage external consultants and vendors involved in optimization projects.
• Document findings, recommendations, and changes thoroughly.
