Placements24 is seeking a Senior Business Process Analyst in Bloemfontein, SA to map and optimize client processes across industries. The role emphasizes analytical rigor, stakeholder collaboration, and hands-on implementation of improvements.

You will drive current-state analyses, design future-state workflows, and develop business cases while facilitating workshops and ensuring successful adoption across client organizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in business process analysis, re-engineering, or a similar role.
• Experience in process mapping, analysis, and documentation using tools like Visio or Lucidchart.
• Strong understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse teams.
• Experience in facilitating workshops and stakeholder interviews.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Familiarity with BPM software is a plus.
• Based in or willing to commute to Bloemfontein, Free State, ZA.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive analysis of existing business processes across different functional areas.
• Document current state processes using standard modeling techniques (e.g., BPMN).
• Identify inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Design and document future state processes, including workflows, roles, and responsibilities.
• Develop business cases for process improvement initiatives, outlining costs and benefits.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and validate process designs.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to discuss process findings and recommendations.
• Support the implementation of redesigned processes and monitor their effectiveness.
• Develop training materials and provide guidance to end-users on new processes.
• Continuously evaluate processes to ensure ongoing optimization and alignment with business goals.
