Placements24 in Midrand is seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer to optimize oil and gas processes, ensuring safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance across projects.

The role involves designing and evaluating process designs, developing PFDs and P&ID diagrams, and leading technical reviews. You will mentor junior engineers and collaborate with operations, maintenance and project teams to deliver reliable plant performance in a demanding industrial environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering is required.
Minimum 7 years of process engineering experience in oil & gas.
Experience with process simulation software and design tools is essential.

Responsibilities

Develop, analyze, and optimize process designs for oil and gas facilities.
Conduct feasibility studies and technical reviews for projects and modifications.
Troubleshoot operating issues, identify root causes, and implement improvements.
Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and project management for seamless execution.
Prepare PFDs and P&IDs with detailed reports.
