Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in petroleum engineering, with a focus on production and reservoir management.
• Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (Eclipse, Petrel) and production forecasting tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in the South African oil and gas industry is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct reservoir studies and analyses to forecast production and optimize recovery rates.
• Develop and implement field development plans and production enhancement strategies.
• Monitor well performance, diagnose issues, and recommend corrective actions for efficiency.
• Evaluate new technologies and methodologies for reservoir characterization and production optimization.
• Collaborate with geologists, geophysicists, and drilling engineers on field development projects.
• Prepare technical reports, economic evaluations, and presentations for management and stakeholders.
