The role demands a strong background in process design and simulation, with hands-on experience in scale-up projects and delivering technical reports and operation guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in process engineering within the petrochemical or oil and gas industry.
• Proven track record in process design, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of process control systems, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics.
• Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, PRO/II).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor process improvements to enhance yield, reduce costs, and minimize waste.
• Conduct detailed process simulations and analyses to identify potential bottlenecks and areas for optimization.
• Ensure all process operations adhere strictly to safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
• Provide technical expertise and support for plant operations, troubleshooting complex process issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with research and development teams on the scale-up of new processes and technologies.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and operational guidelines for process activities.
