Placements24 is seeking a Senior Process Engineer for its Mossel Bay energy projects. The role focuses on designing, optimizing, and troubleshooting chemical and physical processes within oil and gas operations. You will enhance efficiency, ensure safety, and drive innovation in process design and implementation.

The position is hybrid, offering collaboration across engineering, operations and maintenance teams in the Western Cape region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in process engineering, oil and gas preferred.
• Proficient with process simulation software and PFDs/P&IDs.

Responsabilités

• Design and optimize process systems for efficiency and safety.
• Run process simulations and model operations.
• Conduct Process Hazard Analysis and implement safety improvements.
• Create PFDs and P&IDs for projects.
• Troubleshoot operations and provide technical support.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations and maintenance teams.
