Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in process design engineering with a strong project portfolio.
• Expertise in process simulation software (Aspen Plus, ChemCAD) and CAD tools.
• In-depth knowledge of industry standards, codes and safety regulations.
• Proven experience leading HAZOP studies and other process safety assessments.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of process designs from feasibility studies through to detailed engineering, ensuring compliance with regulatory and client requirements.
• Create and review PFDs, P&IDs, mass and energy balances, and equipment specifications.
• Perform process simulations and calculations to optimize system performance and identify risks.
• Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure correct selection and integration of process equipment.
• Conduct PHAs and HAZOP studies, implementing robust safety measures.
• Provide technical support during construction, commissioning, and startup phases of projects.
