Job summary

Placements24 in the Free State seeks a Senior Business Process Consultant to analyze, redesign, and optimize client workflows for sustainable operational excellence. You will partner with client teams to identify bottlenecks, apply Lean/Six Sigma methods, document processes, implement changes, and train staff while tracking KPIs.

The role requires 5+ years in process analysis, excellent stakeholder engagement, and a bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in business process analysis, re-engineering, or operational improvement consulting.
• Proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, BPMN, or similar frameworks.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information.
• Experience in developing process documentation, flowcharts, and standard operating procedures.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Design and document optimized business processes using methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma.
• Develop implementation plans for new processes and provide support during the transition phase.
• Measure and monitor the effectiveness of implemented process changes, reporting on key performance indicators.
• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements and gain consensus on process improvements.
• Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for client personnel on new or modified processes.
