Placements24 is seeking a Senior Process Chemical Engineer to design and optimize complex chemical processes in Mahikeng, North West. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient operation and drive project success through scale-up and process simulations.

The role requires 8+ years of experience, strong design and simulation skills (Aspen HYSYS, PRO/II), and a solid foundation in thermodynamics and reactor engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive process engineering experience in chemical or related industries.
• Experience in process design, simulation (Aspen HYSYS, PRO/II), and scale-up.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop chemical processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct feasibility studies, pilot tests, and scale-up of processes.
• Perform process simulations and modeling to predict performance and identify improvement areas.
