Job summary

Standard Bank Group is seeking a Private Banking Relationship Manager to grow and retain a portfolio of affluent clients. You will engage with clients to understand their financial objectives and provide personalized solutions aligned with client value Proposition.

In this role you will analyse client finances, propose appropriate products, and ensure the portfolio aligns with segmentation criteria, contributing to the bank’s personal and private banking goals.

Qualifications

• First Degree (NQF7) in Business Commerce.
• 5–7 years of sales, service and relationship management experience in financial services.
• Solid knowledge of bank policies for processing customer transactions.
• Ability to analyse client needs and financial objectives to tailor solutions.

Responsibilities

• Grow, maintain and retain a portfolio of signature banking customers.
• Engage with clients to analyse personal financial objectives and position.
• Proactively offer relationship-based, personalized financial solutions.
• Analyse client financial information and respond to needs (e.g., cash flow issues).
• Ensure portfolio clients meet segmentation criteria.
