Job summary

Standard Bank Group seeks a Private Banking relationship manager in Stellenbosch to deliver relationship-based client engagement, portfolio management and tailored financial solutions that enhance client experience and profitability.

You will support credit processes, annual reviews and ensure compliance while identifying opportunities to deepen client relationships and grow the affluent banking portfolio.

Qualifications

• Finance/commerce degree FAIS recognised or aligned.
• Experience with affluent/private banking clients is preferred.
• Strong understanding of client portfolio management and risk awareness.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with Private Banking clients through proactive and value-adding engagement.
• Drive portfolio growth through retention, cross-selling, sales delivery and identifying new client opportunities.
• Understand client needs and recommend suitable banking, lending, wealth and digital solutions.
• Support credit applications, annual credit reviews and effective portfolio administration.
• Manage client queries, complaints, digital adoption, risk and compliance requirements in line with bank standards.
