Qualifications

• PhD or Master's in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Systems.
• Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in power system analysis and grid operations.
• Extensive knowledge of power system planning, operation, and protection principles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced power flow, short-circuit, stability, and dynamic simulations of transmission and distribution networks.
• Develop and validate detailed power system models using industry-standard software (PSS/E, PowerFactory, DIgSILENT).
• Analyze impact of new generation sources, including renewables and energy storage on grid stability and reliability.
• Lead development of grid expansion plans and network reinforcement studies.
• Perform load forecasting and demand-side management analysis.
• Investigate and resolve complex power system disturbances and emergent issues.
• Develop and implement strategies for optimizing grid performance and efficiency.
• Provide expert technical consultation to planning, operations, and project development teams.
• Mentor junior analysts and engineers, sharing knowledge and best practices.
