Job summary

Placements24 in South Africa is seeking a Senior Policy Administrator to join a fully remote insurance operations team. You will manage end-to-end policy administration, including issuance, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in policy administration, strong knowledge of insurance products, proficient with policy administration software and MS Excel, and excellent communication for remote service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in insurance policy administration.
• Strong knowledge of insurance products, terms, and conditions.
• Proficiency with policy administration software and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication skills with experience in remote interactions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a virtual team.
• Familiarity with Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape insurance market dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end policy administration, including issuance, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations.
• Ensure data accuracy and regulatory compliance across systems.
• Process policy changes promptly and accurately.
• Liaise with underwriters, agents, and clients to resolve queries.
• Develop and maintain documentation for admin processes.
• Train and mentor junior administrators.
• Monitor portfolios for adherence to underwriting guidelines and risk.
• Generate reports on activity, retention, and KPIs.
• Assist in implementing new administration systems.
