Placements24 is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a leading financial services institution in Polokwane. You will lead business process improvement initiatives, redesign workflows, and drive adoption across departments to boost efficiency and productivity.

You will develop detailed project plans, manage budgets and timelines, and partner with department heads to deliver measurable ROI while navigating a hybrid work environment in Limpopo.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in project management with a focus on business process analysis and improvement.
• Proven track record of leading process optimization projects.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent understanding of project management principles and tools (MS Project, Visio, BPMN).
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in financial services is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead identification, analysis, and redesign of business processes to improve efficiency.
• Develop detailed project plans for process improvement initiatives, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Manage project execution, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Conduct stakeholder analysis and manage engagement to ensure buy-in and support for process changes.
• Implement change management strategies to facilitate smooth transitions and adoption of new processes.
• Monitor the performance of implemented processes and identify areas for further optimization.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including process maps, training materials, and status reports.
• Collaborate with department heads and operational teams to understand their needs and challenges.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions on new processes and methodologies.
• Measure and report on the impact and ROI of process improvement projects.
