Placements24 is seeking a proactive Project Manager in Bloemfontein to drive operational improvements across functions. You will identify opportunities, devise detailed project plans, and lead cross-functional teams to implement changes that reduce costs and improve efficiency.

The role requires a strong analytical mindset, proven PM experience in manufacturing or operations, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in project management with focus on operations, process improvement, or Lean Six Sigma projects.
• Proven track record of delivering operational changes that reduce costs or improve efficiency.
• Strong data-driven decision-making and ability to interpret performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and prioritize opportunities for operational improvement across the organization.
• Develop comprehensive project plans with scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines and resources.
• Lead cross-functional project teams and drive accountability for results.
• Implement process improvements and best practices to boost efficiency and cut costs.
• Monitor progress, track KPIs, and report results to senior management.
• Manage project budgets and ensure optimal resource allocation.
• Conduct root cause analysis and design sustainable solutions.
• Facilitate change management to ensure adoption of new processes and systems.
• Develop training materials and guide teams on new methodologies.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
