Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Specialist Platform and Compute Engineer to maintain and optimize enterprise infrastructure across VMware, Windows Server, Linux, SAN storage, and cloud integration. You will lead incident response, perform changes, and provide technical consultancy to customers, with a 24x7 on-call rotation and close collaboration with services teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate or qualified by experience with ideal certifications such as AZ-305.
• Strong hands-on experience with VMware, Windows Server, and enterprise storage.
• Exposure to PCI-DSS environments and cloud integration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain service availability by routine maintenance, failover testing, and proactive monitoring.
• Lead or participate in infrastructure deployment projects and changes.
• Provide technical consultancy across the business for platform and compute opportunities.
• Assist with on-call incidents and 24x7 support requirements to meet SLAs.
• Attend CAB meetings and coordinate customer communications during incidents.
