Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Senior IT Operations Engineer to design, administer and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, and to implement IT operations policies. The role includes supporting end users at 2nd/3rd line, and serving as standby escalation after hours.

Applicants should have 5+ years in IT operations, strong admin skills in Windows and Linux, Office 365, and DNS/certificate management; with backup/DR tools like VEEAM and Hyper-V experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting an IT technical environment.
• Experience in incident, problem, and change management.
• Proficient in Office 365 administration and OS administration (Windows/Linux).
• Strong documentation and technical authoring skills.
• Knowledge of ITIL is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, administer and maintain the company IT infrastructure.
• Create and implement IT operations policies, procedures and standards.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level end-user support and standby escalation after hours.
• Administer backup and disaster recovery systems and processes.
• Document systems, SOPs, root causes and other IT reports for management.
