Job summary

Vector Logistics Limited is seeking a Payroll Administrator in South Africa to ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll, maintain records, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of payroll administration experience and strong knowledge of payroll systems like SAP.

This role involves processing monthly payroll, reconciling accounts, and providing support to employees on payroll-related matters while promoting a diverse workplace in line with our Employment Equity Plan.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in payroll administration.
• Experience managing large or high-volume payrolls.
• Exposure to payroll audits, reporting, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll accurately and within set deadlines.
• Manage and maintain Time & Attendance data using SAP.
• Ensure compliance with legislation related to payroll.
• Respond promptly to payroll-related queries from employees.

Skills

Strong knowledge of payroll systems (e.g. SAP)

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Understanding of payroll legislation and statutory requirements

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education
