Job summary

R17 Ventures in Cape Town, South Africa, is seeking a Senior Paid Media specialist to lead Google Ads and support Meta Ads within a hybrid setup. You will own large e-commerce and lead-gen accounts, optimise structures and bidding, and coordinate with CRM and analytics to drive incremental growth.

You will advise on unit economics, run experiments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to raise performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience in paid media / PPC.
• Advanced experience across all Google Ads campaign types.
• Solid working experience with Meta Ads.
• GA4, GTM, and attribution knowledge.
• Experience with CRM integrations and lead routing.
• Proven results across ecommerce and lead generation accounts.
• Comfortable owning accounts independently and at scale.

Responsibilities

• Own large, complex Google Ads accounts end to end across Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Demand Gen and YouTube.
• Build account structures for scale and set bidding strategies based on data and goals.
• Utilise feed optimisation, custom labels, and customer match for performance.
• Plan and optimise Meta campaigns with strong testing and signal quality.
• Understand client unit economics and drive profitable outcomes.
• Analyze terms, audiences, products, and pages to uncover growth levers.
• Forecast performance, manage budgets, run testing roadmaps, and present recommendations.
