Job summary

Clicks Group's United Pharmaceutical Distributors Cape Town is seeking a permanent Operations Manager to lead the Cape Town UPD operations. Based at the Cape Town branch, you will report to the Branch Manager CT and drive stock integrity, cost containment and regulatory compliance.

Key focus areas include warehouse/operations leadership, quarantining and cold-chain handling, stock counts, supplier relationships, and adherence to SOPs to ensure accurate, timely order fulfilment.

Qualifications

• Relevant business degree or equivalent.
• 5 years management experience in high-volume Warehouse/Operations/Retail or similar.
• Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Budget management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage operations to maximize assets and achieve branch objectives.
• Ensure stock control, cold chain compliance, and proper storage.
• Oversee stock counts and cycle counts.
• Lead operational staff to meet cost and deadline targets.
• Maintain supplier relationships and contractual obligations.
