Job summary

Clicks Group is recruiting x3 permanent Warehouse Supervisors (Checking department) for UPD Cape Town. The roles will be based at the Cape Town branch, report to the Department Manager and operate in a rotating Day/Afternoon/Night shift pattern.

The job focuses on final quality gate control before dispatch, ensuring orders are accurate, complete and compliant, to protect service levels and minimise claims while supporting operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in Pharma/ Distribution & Wholesale / FMCG / Supply Chain environments.
• 1-2 years supervisory/people management experience.
• Stock management or inventory experience.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word/Excel).
• KNAPP and/or SAP experience advantageous.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and process discipline.

Responsibilities

• Ensure orders match invoices and documentation; verify product, quantity, batch and expiry.
• Identify and correct picking errors before dispatch.
• Supervise checkers and quality control staff; allocate work and monitor productivity.
• Provide training on checking procedures and SOPs.
• Maintain product condition and compliance with standards.
• Minimise shortages and incorrect deliveries; investigate recurring errors.
• Ensure GDP compliance and maintain audit records.
• Coordinate with Picking, Inventory, Dispatch, QA and Customer Service to resolve discrepancies.
