Placements24 seeks a Senior Offshore Wind Turbine Technician to lead a team of technicians offshore near Port Elizabeth. You will oversee complex maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on wind turbine systems in a demanding marine environment.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in wind turbine maintenance, offshore exposure, and strong leadership. Certification in heights, first aid, and GWO training is preferred.

Qualificações

• 8+ years experience in wind turbine maintenance (onshore or offshore).
• Offshore environment experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and control systems relevant to wind turbines.
• Certifications in working at heights, confined spaces, and first aid/CPR are mandatory.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and supervise a team of wind turbine technicians offshore.
• Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with advanced tools.
• Perform major component replacements and gearbox repairs.
• Ensure work complies with safety policies and local regulations.
• Conduct pre- and post-maintenance tests and performance analyses.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records in CMMS.
