Placements24 is seeking an experienced Offshore Wind Farm Technician to join a global engineering support team in a remote capacity. You will diagnose issues, plan maintenance, and coordinate with onshore and offshore crews to optimize turbine performance and reliability.

The role emphasizes remote troubleshooting, data-driven maintenance planning, and developing procedures for offshore wind assets. A technical engineering background and hands-on wind turbine experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level technical degree or higher in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience with large wind turbine systems, offshore preferred.
• Strong diagnostics, SCADA, data analysis, and remote monitoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting for offshore wind turbines.
• Analyze performance data and fault logs to identify issues and plan maintenance.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with site teams, vessel crews, and onshore centers.
• Develop and update maintenance procedures and technical documentation for turbines.
• Contribute to root cause analysis of equipment failures and performance degradations.
• Monitor key components to minimize downtime and guide repairs or replacements.
