Shoprite Group is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to drive national operational performance and governance across the last-mile network. You will consolidate regional performance, manage KPIs, and ensure compliant execution with a matrix operating model.

You will lead cross-regional alignment, readiness for peak periods, and capacity planning, partnering with planning, commercial, and driver-facing teams to enable scalable growth and excellent customer experience.

Qualifications

• Degree required in operations or a related field.
• 7+ years of operations management experience in logistics or last-mile delivery.
• Proven experience leading geographically dispersed teams and multi-level leadership.
• Strong track record in KPI management and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Drive national operational governance, alignment, and performance across regions.
• Manage readiness for peak trading periods, capacity planning, and resilience initiatives.
• Oversee driver network compliance, capacity management, and service performance.
• Lead end-to-end last-mile delivery management and operational cadence across regions.
• Conduct performance reviews, root-cause analyses, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement across Digital Commerce, Logistics, Planning, Finance, and HR.
• Foster accountability and a high-performance culture focused on customer service.
