Placements24 is helping a respected municipal consulting firm recruit a Senior Municipal Engineer in Vereeniging, Gauteng. You will plan, design and supervise municipal infrastructure, including water, wastewater and roads, from conception to completion.

The role requires a BEng in Civil Engineering, Pr Eng with ECSA, and 7+ years in municipal projects plus solid project management and stakeholder skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Pr Eng registration with ECSA essential.
• 7+ years in municipal engineering across infrastructure types.
• Experience with project budgets and schedules.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and water modelling software.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and management of water, wastewater and road projects.
• Prepare feasibility studies, designs, tender docs and cost estimates.
• Oversee construction supervision and contract administration.
• Mentor junior engineers and liaise with officials and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with national and local standards.
