Qualifications

• BEng in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Professional registration with ECSA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in municipal services infrastructure design.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater networks.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, calculations, and tender docs.
• Conduct site investigations and data gathering for design.
• Ensure compliance with by-laws, SANS standards, and regs.
• Collaborate with PMs, contractors, and authorities.
• Review contractor submittals and provide technical support on site.
• Assist in project cost estimates and tender evaluations.
• Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
• Identify design challenges and propose practical solutions.
• Contribute to updating design standards and procedures.
