Job summary

Placements24 seeks a skilled Civil Engineer to lead water and sanitation infrastructure projects in Vereeniging, Gauteng. You will design, model, and supervise delivery from feasibility to commissioning, contributing to sustainable water solutions for local communities.

The role requires a strong hydraulics background, experience with water treatment and wastewater systems, and the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams across site and office environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required or equivalent.
• Pr Eng registration with ECSA strongly preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of progressive civil engineering experience with a focus on water and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Design water supply networks, treatment plants and wastewater systems.
• Conduct hydraulic modeling for water distribution and sewerage systems.
• Prepare detailed drawings, specs, calculations and tender documents.
• Oversee construction and ensure compliance with designs and standards.
• Manage project schedules, budgets and resources.
