Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to lead planning and execution of critical mining infrastructure projects in the Mahikeng region. You will manage multidisciplinary teams, budgets, and stakeholders from conception through commissioning, ensuring safety, sustainability, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Professional registration with ECSA (Pr. Eng.).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in project engineering and management, with at least 5 years in mining infrastructure.
• Proven track record delivering complex capital projects in mining.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full project lifecycle for mining infrastructure development from planning to commissioning.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and resources to deliver on time and within financial constraints.
• Oversee multidisciplinary teams and external contractors to meet objectives.
• Ensure health, safety, environmental, and quality standards across all phases.
• Communicate progress to senior management and stakeholders.
