Placements24 seeks a seasoned Mining Operations Manager to oversee all operational aspects of a major mine in Rustenburg, North West. This senior role demands strategic leadership to drive safety, efficiency, and profitability across open-pit or underground operations.

You will lead a diverse team of engineers and supervisors, shape production planning, budgeting, and cost control, and uphold environmental stewardship and CSR commitments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in mining operations management.
• Degree in Mining Engineering, Metallurgy, or related field.
• Proven leadership for large, diverse teams.
• Strong knowledge of mine planning and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage day-to-day mining operations including planning, production, and maintenance.
