Job summary

Placements24 seeks a Chief Surveyor to lead mining surveying in Mahikeng, North West. You will establish survey controls, conduct topographic and volumetric surveys, and provide spatial data to mine planning and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• National Diploma or Degree in Surveying or Geomatics is required.
• Professional registration with the SAGC or candidacy for registration is required.
• Minimum 8 years of mine surveying experience with leadership exposure.
• Proficiency with surveying software and mine modeling packages is essential.
• Experience with survey instruments and data processing techniques is essential.
• Valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead mine surveying operations for surface and underground projects.
• Establish and maintain survey control networks.
• Conduct topographic, boundary, and volumetric surveys.
